Lee Johnson joined Nasco Healthcare in 2016 as Director of Sales for Europe and the Asia Pacific. In 2018, Lee was promoted to VP, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, where he is building and leading a high performing team. Lee is responsible to lead and direct all sales, marketing and customer service across our international and US markets. Previously, Lee served as International Sales Manager at Limbs & Things for 20 years, where he developed the international distributor network from 0 to 90 distributors covering over 70 countries. Lee’s passionate commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to his customers represents Nasco Healthcare’s corporate spirit.
Kelly began her career with Nasco in 2003 in Purchasing, where she was quickly promoted to Assistant Director of Healthcare. Kelly has an extensive background in Healthcare education and product development/management with simulation and training products, across EMS and nursing markets. After many years of building distributor and customer relations, Kelly was promoted to Director of Healthcare, where she continued to establish closer business relationships, building the foundations for growth. In 2019 Kelly was promoted to Director of Business Operations, where she now manages a multitude of different projects and people, including Customer Service and Technical Support. Kelly leads a team that has operational excellence and customer satisfaction as their core values, empowering staff to make a difference. She is a dedicated leader with a huge passion and commitment to improve all aspects of our operations and drive Nasco Healthcare to become #1 in Customer Service.
Juan Vergara joined Nasco Healthcare as Global Director of Customer Service in 2023. Juan has a successful track record in Customer Service using a variety of metrics which he looks forward to implementing at Nasco Healthcare. Educated at University of Wisconsin and Rockhurst University of Chicago, Juan is experienced in managing a multinational team. He has a wealth of experience in distributor management, vendor management, contact center management, SalesForce implementation and shipping. Juan is based out of Wisconsin and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
With 20 years of proven customer service management, Tom brings a wealth of expertise as a leader across multiple industries. His solid track record includes customer service efficiency, coaching, and driving continuous improvement through ethical practices. Tom is also passionate about new challenges and leading change management.
Tom will play a pivotal role in moving Nasco Healthcare forward by leveraging new technologies and metrics.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a wealth of experience in market research, competitive analysis, and product launch/lifecycle management.
Michael’s focus is on expanding our global presence by gathering customer feedback for both product development and launches. This will help Nasco Healthcare achieve key operational and strategic goals in our ongoing transformation, and always delivering winning products.
Layton is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare management, emergency response, and sales leadership. He is a retired U.S. Air Force Chief and Operations Manager, and was recognized for exceptional service with the Meritorious Service Medal.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from Trident University and is a nationally certified paramedic.
Layton has been instrumental in nurturing relationships with state and county departments, city councils, private ambulance companies, hospital systems, and the Department of Defense.
In his spare time, Layton volunteers as a research diver for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and supports the Children’s Surgical Centre in Cambodia.
Dianne began her journey with Simulaids founder Kevin Sweeney as a Customer Service Associate. Dianne’s dedication soon led to being promoted to Executive Assistant to the VP of Business Operations.
Dianne’s experience and passion for success was instrumental in the successful transformation to Nasco Healthcare. Her proficiency for providing customer service led to her promotion to North America Customer Service Manager.
Her leadership and commitment to Nasco Healthcare drives our goal of providing excellence in Customer Service.
After studying mechanical design at Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin, Khaled AbuDayyeh began his journey with Nasco Healthcare in 2001 as an R&D Engineer. His passion as an artist opened his eyes to a world of design and product development of healthcare training products, from task trainers to simulators. In 2011, Khaled was promoted to Director of Sales for the Middle East and Africa, where he developed strong, trusting relationships with distributors and customers in this region. With his extensive background and experiences with Nasco Healthcare products, Khaled accepted a position as Nasco Healthcare’s Technical and Support Manager, in 2019. He specifically focuses on helping customers with training and other technical issues. Being fluent in both English and Arabic, means Khaled is prepared to help customers globally, with expert training and knowledgeable technical support.
Melissa has a BS in Health Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with an emphasis in geriatrics and long-term care and was a federally licensed nursing home administrator in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
While the bulk of her time is spent in marketing, product development and instruction, Melissa also uses her strong healthcare background to find the perfect simulation solution for our customers and distributors.
Brenon brings extensive experience to Nasco Healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, with an emphasis on Marketing.
Brenon will play a crucial role in expanding our market share in the Northeast with his strong networking and strategic communication skills.
In his previous roles at ImageTrend, Better Earth Solar and Airborne Athletics, his leadership and sales proficiency contributed to significant increases in closing high-value deals.
Colin brings a wealth of experience and a passion for healthcare simulation to Nasco Healthcare, particularly within the realm of virtual reality (VR) technologies. He possesses a strong background in sales and account management, consistently surpassing sales targets and fostering great partnerships.
His previous roles include serving as a flight paramedic and volunteering as a firefighter/EMT. Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as an associate degree in Paramedic Science from Fox Valley College.
Shay brings to Nasco Healthcare a diverse and accomplished background in frontline healthcare, prehospital care, healthcare education, law enforcement, and sales. She has over 25 years of experience as a critical care paramedic, frontline provider, firefighter, law enforcement officer, and State of Tennessee Park Ranger. She has spent many years as an EMS, Nursing, and Allied Health instructor and as a former EMS program director, earning numerous awards for her outstanding achievements in the classroom and lifesaving efforts.
Her extensive experience in medical simulation and education since 1999, coupled with her role in medical simulation sales since 2018, highlights her ability to drive growth and innovation in the healthcare sector.
Shay earned her degrees in Biology and Forensic Anthropology from the University of Tennessee.
A pharmacist by profession and a graduate of King’s College, London, Manan Kalia is a highly accomplished professional in the simulation industry and a sales leader in the Middle East and North Africa. As the Business Unit Manager for the Simulation Division at Leader Healthcare, Manan has been successful in building a strong organization and developing a team that delivers profitable results.
During his time in the region, Manan has developed business relations supporting growth of simulation in the GCC and Africa for some major medical simulation companies like CAE Healthcare, Body Interact, Adam Rouilly, Sectra, Surgical Science and many more.
Michal brings over 18 years of experience in distributing medical teaching aids and supplies, including collaborating with key stakeholders to develop new products. He played a key role in the introduction of new manufacturers of virtual anatomy tables to the European market.
Michal has also been instrumental in identifying suitable distribution channels, providing leadership, and ensuring high-quality support for seamless collaboration between manufacturers and distributors.
Siddhartha Singh is a dedicated Healthcare Sales Professional with 6+ years of proven track record success in different healthcare domains. A quick learner and efficient worker, managing multiple responsibilities effectively and successfully. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Bioinformatics from Amity University, Noida, India. Skilled in establishing new segments and managing operational frameworks and defining strategies. Siddhartha was a Zonal Business Manager at Sandor Medicaid’s Pvt. Ltd, focusing on establishing simulation and skills labs all over India, has played a crucial role in establishing Nasco Healthcare’s presence in the country.
Louis is passionate about medical education and hands-on training. With a background in international business management and electronic engineering, he is responsible for developing new business in the Asia-Pacific region and solidifying relationships with our distributors and direct clients.
Louis has completed several full-simulation center projects with state-of-the-art products in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. This has helped healthcare professionals keep up with the continuous evolving healthcare industry in these emerging Asian countries.
He also speaks four languages!
Graduated in Electronics and Automation and business administration, Edmundo Vargas Neto joined Nasco Healthcare in 2016 as sales director for Brazil. In 2019, Edmundo was promoted to Sales Director Latin America, where he is rebuilding and leading a team of high-performance distributors. Previously, Edmundo served as sales manager for several multinational companies in the fields of medical devices and simulation for 30 years, where he developed a network of 60 international distributors, covering all of Latin America and the Caribbean. Edmundo is passionate about his work and his commitment is to continuous improvement and dedication to his customers, representing the constant corporate spirit of Nasco Healthcare.
